How To Get No Credit Check Cell Phone Plans
It can be pretty tough when you have bad credit and most things aren’t as affordable as you would like. Whenever you wish to pay for anything on finance you can find yourself staring at a brick wall. Many companies just don’t want to deal with those that have bad or even fair credit. It’s a real shame but that’s just the way it is. However there are still some companies out there advertising their cell phones suitable for those with bad credit.
One of the first things you might want to have a look at the pre-paid phones that are out there. These are known as pay as you go because you can only make a phone call if you have a balance. When you run out of money you simply cannot make a call. This can be very frustrating but the good thing is that you won’t have to worry about being able to afford the cell phone monthly fee plus calls. There is also no need for a credit check with this kind of cell phone plan.
There are many companies that offer pay as you go phones such as Virgin, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint and you can choose from a wide variety of cell phones. So if you like to keep up with the latest trends in technology you will be able to do so. There are phones that allow you to take photographs, listen to music and play games. You don’t have to walk about with an ugly big brick of a phone.
Another great thing about getting a prepaid phone is that you aren’t locked into any lengthy contracts. Some people take out a contract for a year or 2 when they are in a job and can afford it. However if some time down the line you lose your job or end up with other financial commitments it can be very difficult to keep the payments for your phone up. And trying to wriggle your way out of a contract is no easy thing. However if you do end up getting a contract that you can’t afford to pay, you should talk to the provider and explain your situation. You might be allowed to go onto a cheaper plan.
So many people these days are in the belief that they need to have their cell phone permanently attached to their ear. It wasn’t that long ago that most people didn’t even have a cell phone so there’s no need to be constantly talking on the phone all the time. However having a cell phone for emergency use can be so useful and being without any kind of mobile communication these days is very difficult. So you will still want to have a cell phone despite having bad credit. It might be that you just aren’t able to get the exact model you want and you might not be able to use it as frequently as you wish.
If you still really want a contract cell phone you could enquire with the major cell phone outlets about getting a loan with a co-signer. Perhaps a partner, friend or family member will guarantee that the contract is paid. Of course, the person you ask to be the cosigner should have good credit because if they don’t there isn’t much point in them doing this for you.

We changed to prepaid phones to try and save money and IT WORKS! We got Net 10 phones and buy 300 minutes each a month for $30.00. We will save over $1000.00 per year this way and it’s painless. Another bonus is the phones had 300 free minutes to start off with, and any unused minutes roll over to the next month. We text a lot more now (50c per text) and get plenty of warning from Net10 if our time is running low! It’s a win win situation!

I’m also a huge supporter of prepaid plans as a way to save money. I’m one of those people who hate getting locked into contracts, only to have buy my way out of them if I need to finish them early.
Of all of the options out there Net10 offers the clearest, easiest way to keep track of what you spend. 10c a minute for all local, long distance and roaming calls and 5c (not 50c!) per text. Plus your balance is displayed every time you turn your phone on. If you use your phone an average amount per month (300 minutes or so) then this offers the best value for money out there. If you use it more there are other options such as Straight Talk unlimited.
Hope this helps!
